We appreciated our 2-nights stay. The service was friendly and the food was appetising! Amazing facilities and the pool was nice. The location was ideal for walking around Harrah's Casino New Orleans. Lovely restaurant within walking distance of the hotel.
It was as expected, had a good stay. Luxury hotel, I loved its central location near the French Quarter and the Riverwalk. I was met by cordial and outstanding staff at the lobby. The bedrooms were lovely. Very comfy bed and great services.
Staff and location, luxurious hotel!
Actually everything was nice, my next choice again in New Orleans. The hotel was fairly clean, I liked it.
The gentleman that helped us to our room was very pleasant.
We requested a handicap room but when the porter helped us to our room, it was not a handicap room. We had to wait for a handicap room and it was not available until 4:30pm. When we got to the room there was no where to sit in the room except for one bar type chair. Very disappointed in our room.
The room and facilities were comfortable and chic
There was a billing error that I tried to clarify with the staff but the staff/receptionists at registration were very confused and a bit confrontational. The hotel charged a $100 incidental fee to my credit card a month before I arrived at the hotel (which has accrued interest, etc.). This is a horrible policy (if it really is a policy) and I tried to explain to the manager on 3/24 when I arrived. She implied that I didn't know anything about 4 star hotels (which I do!) and was very condescending. When I checked out 3 days later, the receptionist couldn't print my bill and was also unapologetic for not being able to explain why I was charged an extra $100. Based on this experience, I will not recommend this hotel in New Orleans.
I thought the staff was very knowlegable and helpful.
I didn't like the time that the cleaning staff made rounds to clean the rooms. The tub leaked. The toilet did not flush appropriately, and the only outlet in the bathroom did not work.
The bathroom was dirty. There was never enough staff to manage the reception desk and the dining room staff were not very attentive- never any coffee at 7am (always empty) and never available when I wanted to go in for breakfast/
Safety is an issue-They issued keys for my room to another guest staying at the hotel and they opened the door and walked into the room while I was half dressed! Also made a mistake with my bill and charged 2x the quoted cost of the room for 2 nights.
Room are quiet and nice. Gym and pool are excellent, not overbooked. The bar is a good place to take something.
The crawfish quesadilla
They gave my package to a co-worker without asking for ID
I was extremely disappointed in my stay at the W. I will never stay at another W again. It was not worth the 200 I paid per night.
Location was superb, room were clean, and staff were excellent.
Pillows were a bit hard to make comfortable.
Paying for parking was too expensive. Shower needed fixed. Too expensive for such a small room. One bottle of water you could drink without paying for. Stayed 2 nights and did not get another free bottle of water Other bottle water was available but cost $5.00.
